Transcending Thought
What are your Thoughts?
Interesting question if you stop to think about it. Over and over again everyone seems to be screaming thoughts in their head. Some more than others, some to the point of constant bombardment. And if these things called thoughts are an indication of what may or may not happen, then why does everyone seem to worry so much over them.
With action behind a thought, the process of creation begins. A well know fact that is so hidden today that most beings are unaware that they are creating life through them (thoughts). And what is this thought we put our action to, initially is it a fearful one or an inspiring one. Can we tell?
For many years I've practiced meditation without being aware of what it was called. I still do not consider it meditation as this places a name on a form of reverence. I love to sit, stand, walk, whatever and be in the presence of silence where thoughts do occur by quieting my mind. How I do this I don't know, I have always considered it a gift since childhood and it drive many of my friends absolutely nuts! Aloof, in outer-space, wacko, are some of what I hear and it use to bother me until I recognized that while I was peaceful they seemed uptight. I had to learn to be OK with myself, as I am, aware of my surroundings and of my true essence, without needing the influence of others.
Thought are neither good or bad, they are just thoughts the mind shoots at us. The process is one of thinking but how do we think? Is it that we think and react to the thinking process in the ego's survival mode? Is it that we contemplate on a issue to resolve it. Is it that we meditation to find an answer? or do we use belief systems in hopes to bail us out? Of course these are just a few of the thought processes. In any of the cases las well as numerous ones unmentioned, this is s process that is either conscious or unconscious, and unless we are aware of this, any action resulting from the process begins as a unconscious decision.
Is this the form of action what we really want to start with? Resoundingly, I'll bet the answer is NO!! So how then do we adjust from the unconscious to a conscious choice of action? Well, one way is by thinking" Huh? Thinking, I though you just said that was how most people make unconscious decisions!
Ah, there is a magical word you missed. It's called becoming aware, aware of those thoughts and then to take appropriate action. This is conscious choice and it may be out of fear or inspiration but the difference is you are aware of the thoughts, the thinking process before you take any action. Your fully realize you are about to do something.
Then you are aware, an awakening begins. You are still you, you are human, your NOT perfect, nor may be your actions, but you know before hand instead of when your in the process. You can fully look at the whole picture from thought inception, through the thinking process, to the taking action, and the cause and effect of those actions. When you are aware, then your true being is accessible in a way that I can't fully describe but the lesson has more of an impact, for me anyways, than if I caught myself in the middle of the act.
Awareness, can happen at any time, and when it does, it is not because we made it happen, it happens on its own, and at its own preference. As many have said, and tried, until it (awareness) is ready to surface no matter what you do, what you read, or what you hear, will truly enhance your life. I will guarantee you though at some time, usually when you least expect it, a glimpse happens, then another, and another and the process of awakening begins.
So why them, did I pick the title "What are your Thoughts"? Mainly to start you thinking, period. Thinking about the process of thoughts and thoughts turning to actions. I want you to really think the next time your thoughts start running rampant. Why? Because it might just be the beginning of a new awareness awakening with in you.
Ahhh, back to the silence for a while.

PS: I know if your reading this there's a reason why? I may never know unless told. If by chance you want to, we'd love to hear from you. We would also like to know about what you'd like us to either write about or post articles on. To us, your input guides our decisions in the types of content you want to read about or study. It is a thought you place in our thinking process and the actions those thoughts brings.
