As we grow spiritually and come to ultimately transcend what once we perceived merely as yin/yang, dark/light opposites into a non-dualistic, balanced, integrated and inclusive state of understanding, it becomes increasingly apparent there is a code of honor which we freely choose to uphold. Some call this code "spiritual etiquette"—a way of behaving in the world that is reflective of our integrated knowledge.
Spiritual Etiquette is the website of Suzanne Matthiessen, a writer and spiritual educator/facilitator who strives to inspire people to work proactively on their spiritual growth and maintain reverence for the planet and its inhabitants. Her point of view incorporates a mixture of traditional and contemporary spiritual perspectives, and is 180º away from "new age feel-good" rhetoric. The main focus of Suzanne's spiritual education work is communicating about the impact our personal behavior and choices have upon actualizing awakened states of consciousness.
