Greetings one and all,

I promised you I would give you a glimpse of some of the new stuff we are offering our members (membership has its privileges). What I would prefer is for you to login to "Empowering your Authentic Self" web community and become active. How?

Well now that's a good question! You could post something to the discussion boards such as an introduction to yourself and why you decided to join us. That makes for some good reading and while you're there suggest to us what other types of boards you are interested in. Let's not hide the light we've been given, let's share it.

We now have the capability to email our users when new content has been released to the community. You can view the options by going to your account (the My Account link in the left hand column). This will take you to the account information you submitted to us to join. You can view it or edit it.

On this page there is a tab called "My Notify Settings." This is neat; it will allow you the option to receive a email if you wish when fresh content has been added and it will give you the option of receiving just the title, a brief intro to the content, or the entire article, page, or story. You can receive a notice on forum topics that have been updated and also if someone posts a comment about any of the content on the site.

To view your subscriptions to anything you have subscribed to you ca,n again, find it on the left side by the link "My Subscriptions" and at your will can unsubscribe to anything or resubscribe as well.

These are just the tip of the iceberg. It you are interested in helping with content we now can set you up as a author allowing you to publish content to the site. As you can tell we're fairly open to anything that empowers a being to improve their life. Submissions are then queued for review where it is approved before anyone except the author can see it. I won't promise that everything posted will hit the site but the chances are good if you are the writer or have permission to publish someone's work in writing that it will be approved.

Well, I've said enough for right now, except for this. What we are planning is several exciting things one, being a blogger for your own use, being able to write books online, and many other nifty features. Stay tuned and we'll inform you on our progress. More importantly see what we have already enabled and make suggestions to us. They really are considered and we would love to hear from you.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, this community is your community - tell us what you would like to see; tell us what would help you in your quest. We're here to help in whatever way we possibly can. As individuals we can make a difference, as a community we can be a beacon to the world.

This Meaning of Spiritual

In moments of powerful beauty, emotions move that can melt even the thickest and most cynical of skins. Endorphins flow. There is a release of tension. Energies, internal and external, flow and connect. The experience is not only soft and calm, but it also contains the power and creativity of nature and the Universe. To create and to work consciously with these moments of connection is to exercise what we might call our spiritual muscles and our spiritual intelligence. What do I mean by spiritual? I simply mean that whole reality and dimension which is bigger, more creative, more loving, more powerful, more visionary, more wise, more mysterious --- than materialistic daily human experience.

There is no theory or belief system that relates to this meaning of spiritual.

LOVE

I think Love is still a more interesting subject than religious debate. There is no doubt that we can entertain lively religious debate. They are doing that in Iraq. But the truth does not need our defense. It only needs us to recognize it among the illusions we have created. In illusions, everyone likes to be the ruler of their own little mountain. In illusions, Love has been elevated to the unattainable “unconditional Love” and its shadow is being used as an emotional bargaining chip.

I am one who knows both sides of the issue. Being a warrior by nature, I resisted the simple logic of Love for a long time. I considered Love to be “wimping out”. I thought people who did not like to fight the big fight were cowards. I thought hatred was more powerful than Love because I could summon it and wield it with great focus.

But there was a wrongness to it that caused me to question. It took a long road to teach me that hatred only amplifies the “me-centric” perspective. I could put others down and ride up in the reaction. I thought that made me bigger, but I learned that it is more like squeezing a balloon. When one part is pushed in, another part is pushed out. . . But the balloon is still a balloon. It is only warped.

I realized after a while that the good of the one is in the good of the whole and nothing else. That is when I realized how Love is more powerful than hatred. It is a simple matter of perspective. If an individual wants to make self, or a group, better than the rest of humanity, hatred is the only route. However, if an individual can allow their sense of well-being to include the well-being of all others, hatred has no use whatsoever. Since that discovery, Love has been the central theme of my investigation.

A study of Love can begin a long way from “liking people”, but it ends up there. It is not necessary to comprehend “unconditional Love” in order to explore it. It is only necessary to acknowledge its existence, and begin to identify with it. Identifying with Love is sane because it identifies with reality and dispels illusion. Love is the canvas and the pigment of all we can perceive, think or imagine. Any individual risks nothing in the exploration of that hypothesis. But the gains are amazing.

Love is greater than any individual in it. It has properties. Aspects of it can be known in a scientific way because it is reality. If the concept of Love is expanded to include all harmony, all resonance, pitch, frequency and vibratory motion it is discovered that Void and Phenomena coexist spontaneously in an expansion of Shared Love.

Love and awareness cannot be separated. Awareness and Love are connected because Awareness is of Love... Love is what awareness is aware of. Awareness directed away from Love only reveals illusion.

Shared Love is communication. Communication is the basis of vibration, pulsation, density and meaning. Communication is the essence and source of all form... indeed of all expression of any kind.

Love is a resource when it is addressed as a natural part of all manifestation. Love, manifest as harmonic vibration, is subject to the known laws of vibration. Love is the power of Creation. When two people share even a hint of love... even a nod to a stranger on the street... there is a creative Spark and the whole of Creation expands to that degree.

The Will enlivening Love is greater than the will of any life within it. We can have all there is, but we can’t “self-own” any of it because everyone owns all of it. As we share it, it grows.

Each of us has commented that our sharing in this forum feels really good. It is sort of like having a feast for the Soul. I feel a bond growing more tangible. I feel Love forming a nexus. Love conducts the Will of Source. It can bring us into an understanding of Truth that none of us has seen before.

The Joy we have missed is still ours to have. The Joy to come is always there before us. People who like pain for a teacher will have to hurt themselves until they realize that Love is a better teacher. People who believe peace can come from destruction must understand that elimination does not heal. Love heals.

We need only understand Love as it is offered by our Source. In my heart I keep you near me. In my will I seek Love’s Will, so we can finally see the gift that Source would have us share between us. All we have to do is feed the feeling of well-being, and will that Love's Will, and the gift to us, be what we see. Love has already given us all.

Our mortal universe will give us what we tell it to give us. That is what we made it for. If we look for impossibilities, we see them all around. When, however, we look for the fabric and bond of Love, the impossibilities all melt in the Truth of Love’s Will in all life.

Love's Will for us is that we know indescribable joy Eternally as part of what Source Reveals. Our place in the Will of Love is very big and very beautiful. We are to use Love to heal us, and the universe. We cannot see it by thinking about the fears that loom in the shadows. We can ignore hatred because it is a liar. Instead, we need only be still and know that Satisfaction is all that stays when Love enters our house. The more real we keep that, the more power will accumulate between us. If we allow Love to shape that power, and direct it, we become aware of what Source is revealing.

What greater goal is there than finding each other completely satisfied in Wholeness and in Love? Suddenly, the “challenge of life” shifts from using each other for a stepping stool to uplifting each other in an awesome eruption of growth. The “war mentality” can easily be switched to problem solving. The “conquering spirit” can turn its gaze to a quest for knowledge and understanding. In this, the “heroes” can finally shine in a way that is admired by all.

Love takes care of its own. Hatred only takes care of itself. Love expands awareness. Hatred forces a limited perspective. It is all choices. . . and they are important ones.

It does take more power to love than to hate. That starts out being a deterrent, but working with it causes amazing power to surge within. Religious fighting will not save the world. Money will not save the world. Nationalism will not save the world. Only Love has enough power to do that.

Subject: The Tradition And Security

Q: Why are people so afraid of going beyond traditions?

A: Because they are not seeking truth but rather security. What are seekers doing? They are looking at different traditions like at the menu in a restaurant. They try to find the one that fits themselves the most. Just to fit into one available interpretations of Truth is the greatest happiness for an average seeker! Everybody is following everybody, individual unconsciousness gives rise to collective unconsciousness! Everyone is so unconscious! Nobody has time to look for truth, so everybody wants to follow something which has a good reputation, which has the authority of the past. It is all based on the idea of authority. Authority is a drug against basic fear and insecurity. The reality is that there are few real seekers. From all the so-called seekers, perhaps one percent represent 'real seekers' and one percent of this one percent is ready to see the whole truth.

In my life I can see both aspects of a seeker of truth, can you and which type are you? I have been both, in my younger years I searched for security and the seeking would subside.

As this security would wear off the seeking would begin anew. It was only about 7 years ago when I changed my aspect of a seeker and I became one searching for truth instead of security. I owe this blessing to my wife, the struggles and joys we have traveled. To me, seeking truth over security has opened a new door and changed the path of my life.

As such I assure you that when you become a seeker of truth, your life changes. No longer do you fear the unknown but rejoice in its purpose.
