About Us

In January of 2000 the initial concept of developing a web site for the sharing of ideas, events, and information on universal principals was born at a meeting of a local chapter of a soul circle. For those of you who know of Gary Zukav, the term soul circles should be familiar to you. Soul circles are groups of people that come together for the purpose of creating Authenticity within their lives and the lives of those around them. These groups can be found through out the United States and around the world. What was conceived at that soul circle meeting was the birth of this project, a tool to share knowledge and insight, a sounding board to learn from, and a gathering place to meet.

There are many web sites covering universal principals in existence today. Not one however, seemed to fulfill the vision that our founder had for Empowering your Authentic Self The prevalent themes found were specifically related to distinct aspects of life. As the years have progressed since 2000 we have seen an increase in both numbers and the quality of knowledge these sites offer. We stand humbled in gratitude as others venture forth. To be a part of both our own individual awakening of consciousness and of the collective is a awesome adventure, and worth every effort we have put forth. What a blessing this project has brought to us.

Our mission, as we percieve it, occurs interactively through our willingness to be an example of our authentic nature. Through our own growth we present to you knowledge that has enriched us. What you receive, of course, depends upon your openness to listen to the voice within. Your may resonate with us or you may disagree with us, we are not asking you to change your belief system or way of thinking. So what is it that makes us tick? It is our desire that you will pick up tidbits of information that may help you in awakening the consciousness, whether individually or collectively. In paraphrasing what Ghandi said, "In order to see change in the world, we must change ourself."

As we recognize the truth in his statement, we see within us the need for personal growth. In our personal growth, we can see and realize the collective awareness in our beliefs...

• We consider all to be equals and that no one individual is more important than another.
• We believe that each and every one of us are here for a reason, that we are all on a path whether it be as a student, a teacher, a guide, or as a master.
• We believe that throughout this lifetime we can and may at any time fulfill any path we are traveling upon for a master is a student as a student may be a master. It all depends upon how we interpret truth, how we handle it, what action or inaction we take.

In this quest what do we react to and why? Is it a state of love or a fear we are to overcome. Why is it we can experience states of consciousness and yet at other times resort to unconscious behaviour. Questions, questions, and still more questions, do we have all the answers? I don't, I may have some of the puzzle while you have other pieces. This is what life is about, a learning process that we are individuals, equals, and yet we are one. To break free from our fears through the process of love. To discern truth from fiction.


Our ambition is to bring light to the shadows, to the unconscious. This is our journey and yes inevitably, we find shadows and unconsciousness in ourselves, an awareness of that which requires attention within us. As a visitor or member of Empowering your Authentic Self, you have at your fingertips the ability to share in this awakening process. What you do is up to you, what's important is that you follow your intuition and act upon it's unique guiding direction. A recent quote from whom I do not remember once said something to the order of with out action you can never reach your unending potential.


Authenticity covers all aspects of life. No one aspect is unique, they are all inter-related. To excel authentically one realizes that careers, family, health, spirituality, finances, etc... are not seperate entities but effect our whole being. What effects our being, effects our immediate family, effects our community, effects the state we live in, our nation, our world. The individual is part of the collective just as much as the collective is a part of the individual. A new era is upon us. It is the era of awakening, the recognition that there are universal forces at work that bind every living and non-living entity together. This force is unconditional love and it is not new. It's been within us waiting for the moment we become open. This moment is now, we are being called to put aside differences in our belief systems, cultures, and religions in order to become that which we were always meant to be.

Our purpose is that of a resource. A community of beings dedicated to bring awareness into this world, to be an example for all to see. We welcome you to our humble abode and it is our pleasure and delight to be able to serve you in this capacity.

Lack vs. Abundance

Lack is a degrading and humiliating experience. Lack fills prisons with thieves who thought they had to steal in order to feed themselves and their families. Lack creates addictions as people escape to alcohol and drugs. Lack can leave an entire nation vulnerable to the corruption of communism, as communism never thrives in an affluent society.


Whereas lack is degrading, abundance gives us a feeling of dignity, a sense of self-esteem, self-achievement and self-worth. The Universe is abundant and we are an integral part of that Universe. Therefore, any degree of lack acts as a denial of that universal abundance and a denial of our very being.

Our wish is for your enjoyment and use of all that has been provided here. It is a gift of love from our founder and supporting members to you. We look presently towards this goal, the revelation of knowledge and truth within. We give thanks for your decision to visit us and towards your consideration in joining us as a member of Empowering your Authentic Self and our vision of the awakening of world consciousness.
